"The paintings and drawings I make take imagery and inspiration from places visited, local landscapes, collected maps, walks and trees. My work depicts landscapes, layering location, geographical references and elements of the local flora and fauna. I am interested in combining real locations with fragments of maps, playing with the idea of merging the physical landscape and flat space within the artwork – capturing differing perspectives of the landscape and morphing real places and imagined worlds. I have exhibited in London and have had various exhibitions in both the UK and Europe. I studied at the Royal College of Art and at Norwich School of Art and Design. Since 2021 I have also been teaching Art and well-being to adult learners."
